On a picture perfect evening for racing at the 1/4 mile clay oval, in the 270 cc class, Brooks Bennett jumped out into the lead from his pole starting position in the Bennett Motor Works #9. Bennett was hotly pursued by rookie Brandon Igo in the BDI Motorsports #45 machine. Bennett would go on to take down the feature win over Igo, who was followed by #44 Sam Christie, Richard Crooker, Richard Shepard, Chase Bennett, John Agor, Aaron Wall, Wade Mattesen and Tim Bertrand in the Glen Clark #90G.
